Flowanto Document Control Documented offering

The right document.
The right revision.

Bring project documents, reviewers and distribution evidence into one governed environment. Flowanto Document Control is designed for owners, consultants, contractors and suppliers managing document-intensive engineering and capital projects.

One controlled project record

Register drawings, specifications, reports, contracts, correspondence and supplier deliverables with consistent metadata, numbering, ownership and status. Search within the records a user is permitted to access.

Core capability groups

Scope the controlled-document operating model around:

Administration
organizations, projects, users, membership, roles and templates.
Document register
metadata, numbering, validation, filters and controlled bulk registration.
Upload and version integrity
supported bulk/resumable uploads, file checks and preserved version history.
Review workflows
sequential or parallel routing, assigned reviewers, comments, decisions, deadlines and escalation.
Formal transmittals
exact document versions and recipient details frozen on issue, with delivery and acknowledgement evidence.
Search and reporting
authorized retrieval, task and overdue views, revision and transmittal reports.
Handover
controlled archive packages, manifests and file-verification evidence.
Integration
agreed APIs and separately validated connections to surrounding systems.

A lifecycle you can follow

Document identity, revision, internal version and formal issue remain distinct. A routine download is not the same as formal issuance; issued transmittals are not silently edited.

  1. 1Draft
  2. 2Submitted
  3. 3Under Review
  4. 4Approved
  5. 5Issued
  6. 6Superseded or Withdrawn
  7. 7Archived

Roles without lost accountability

Project administrators, document controllers, reviewers, suppliers and auditors receive different scopes of access. Suspending a user does not remove the attribution attached to their historical actions.

Extensions by agreement

OCR, AI metadata extraction, Microsoft 365, ERP, Primavera, electronic-signature, mobile/offline and BIM-related integrations are optional or separately scoped. Annotation, overlay and supplier-package scope is reconciled before quoting.

Choose a practical first rollout

Agree document standards, representative files, role and permission rules, review templates, migration scope and the first project group. Test submission, review, issue, correction and archive workflows before broad rollout.

Users, projects, storage, hosting, language scope, integrations and service targets are agreed in the selected contract. No universal unlimited-capacity, fixed implementation-time or included-AI promise is made.
